2. An assignment will be repeated until you have learned that lesson. Do you find yourself experiencing the same (unpleasant) event again and again? One of your current learning projects is to discover whatever you need to do so it either stops happening or no longer affects you . There are another 9 rules like this click here,
Whatever your core beliefs are, they help to define your unique and individual core issues and these in turn control the way your inner selves react when those issues are triggered. Whatever your most negative core belief about yourself might be, that's the one your inner selves will tend most to "dance around". There are hundreds of core issues and core beliefs, so you expect that yours may be quite different from those held by the person next to you. Examples of typical negative core beliefs.
One of the reasons for interviewing your inner selves is to learn from them about your bottom line or life issues and to be able to distinguish these from what may seem important but which turn out to be only symptoms pointing to the real issues.
Identifying a life issue starts when you notice a group of similar and repetitive problem patterns. You or someone you know keeps experiencing these same patterns again and again through life. If it's a bottom line issue it will keep coming up in different ways, in your conversation, how you see other people, what irritates you in others, what you like in other people. It will usually stand out in the kind of work you do and how you like that work, the kind of films you enjoy, how you like to relax. Whatever you do, wherever you go there it is again. That's a life issue.
Your most powerful "life issues" are related to the problems that worry you most, but they may also be involved in some of your best solutions.
Addictive cycles -
It is normal for people to try to reduce their pain and emotional pain is no exception. A person experiencing deep emotional wounding or anxiety is extremely vulnerable and will do whatever they to block it. When the helpful inner selves in your inner village run out of ways to reduce the pain and no longer provide protection, the next thing is to try substances or processes from outside the village. At first these often seem to work almost miraculously, so the process is repeated more and more often. But sooner or later the treatment starts to lose its effectiveness.
"Is it really safe for me to change?"
Making changes in your life using the methods described in these pages is great ,but only if you are ready to change. And that includes self assurance about change itself. It's better not to make changes until you feel really confident about them and their effect on your life. The methods we describe here do work, but the changes be fast and powerful. It's important to understand what is going to happen before you begin. Then you change with confidence
Our Growing Awareness story-
This approach is based very closely on Hal and Sidra Stone's Psychology of the Selves (and voice dialogue). To find out more about this alternate approach click on this link which will take you to our new website http://www.growingaware.com/
The process (if you are familiar with "voice dialogue") is still voice dialogue.
The difference is in the way we explain it. We follow an alternative, more down to
earth, storytelling path to describe what is happening. It's an experiment to see
if there is an alternate way to explain and simplify self-
It seems to work anyway, whether you call it "voice dialogue " or try the more every-
